Scoutmasters Minutes 3/11/10

Troop 125 Scouts, Scouters and Scout Parents:

Tonights evening's troop meeting is canceled. 3/11/10

Because of the Parish Lenten Mission Liturgy we do not have the use of Price Hall for tonights evening's troop meeting. I have tried to secure an alternate meeting location but have been unsuccessful. Since tonights evening's weather forecast is for rain an outdoor meeting location is not an option. We will resume our regular meeting schedule next Thursday evening 3/18.

• Those Scout's who where scheduled to have a Scoutmaster Conference at this week's meeting, please be prepared to complete your Scoutmaster Conference and Board of Review at next week's meeting.

• Since our Jamboree Scouts will not be with us at next week's troop meeting, Troop Elections have been postponed until our March 25th meeting.

• There will be no Troop Meeting on Holy Thursday, April 1st.

• Our Court of Honor has been re-scheduled for Thursday, April 8th.

• All Scouts planning to attend the Interfaith Retreat and Campout weekend (3/19 to 3/21) please respond to this email so that I may add your name to the Weekend Camping Roster. Please bring your completed Permission Form to next week's Troop meeting.

• Reminder: The $50 Summer Camp deposit is due by March 25. Please complete the Summer Camp Permission Form  and indicate your method of payment at the bottom of the form.

• Troop Committee Meeting Reminder : Our next Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24th, 7:00 PM at the Graney's home (510 Straford Court, Middletown). Troop 125 in Middletown Delaware is focused on developing the young men of our community to make them more confident and dedicated citizens. Through regular scout meetings, campouts, and other special events, these young men are given every opportunity to learn the kinds of things you just can't learn at school. These 'life skills' serve them as they continue through school and into adulthood.

We invite you to use this site to find out more about our Troop and the Boy Scouts of America as a whole. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. A list of upcoming events is on the left of this page along with a link to our 'news' items.

Our Troop meets weekly at St. Joseph's Church in Middletown, Delaware on Thursday nights at 7pm.
